Who We Are
Ibacho Technical Training College (ITTC) is a private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution based in Kisii, Kenya, established to deliver practical, industry-responsive, and competency-based education.
The College was founded to address the growing gap between formal education and labour market needs by offering training that is skills-oriented, affordable, and accessible to young people and working adults. "At Ibacho Technical Training College, our vision is rooted in the belief that skills development is central to economic empowerment and sustainable development."
My experience in teaching, research, and institutional engagement within Kenya's higher education system revealed a persistent gap between academic training and the practical skills demanded by the job market. ITTC was established to respond to this challenge by offering education that is practical, relevant, and accessible.
The College is envisioned as a platform for empowering young people and professionals with competencies that enable them to secure meaningful employment, start enterprises, and contribute positively to society. Through innovation, partnerships, and a commitment to quality, ITTC seeks to grow into a center of excellence in technical and vocational training.
